| Runners, walkers and strollers are invited to go for the gold (5K) or silver (2.5K) in the second annual Utah Olympic Park Hill Climb. This fun uphill race begins at the Visitor’s Center in Kimball Junction and ends at the top of the Park’s Nordic jumps for the 5Kcourse or at the welcome plaza for the 2.5K course.
Proceeds benefit the National Sports Foundation, which runs programs for local youth in cross-country skiing and Nordic combined and ski jumping,
Participants who reach the top of the course can celebrate with a ride back down on the zipline or the Quicksilver alpine slide.
Pre-registration is available at www.nsfparkcity.org. $20 for children; $25 for adults. Day-of-race registration (additional $5) available at the Utah Olympic Park Day Lodge.
